NABCREW Zero AirBlue 1240

In 2023, Moen Marin and Pascal Technologies received Enova funding to develop the NABCREW Zero AirBlue 1240. This fully electric, zero-emission vessel is designed for applications such as personnel transport, accommodating up to eight passengers.

The vessel’s production is part of a collaborative effort aimed at meeting the growing demand for zero-emission and energy-efficient service and aquaculture vessels. The project emphasizes the development of more sustainable solutions without compromising other key features like range and speed.

The vessel is built with Pascal’s AirHull technology, a hull design that partially lifts the boat out of the water by creating an air pocket between the hull and the sea. This innovation significantly reduces energy consumption, enabling both higher speeds and greater range.

This technology has the potential to cut the energy consumption of planing vessels by up to 50% compared to traditional hull designs. Furthermore, it does not sacrifice comfort, but rather employing systems that ensure smooth and efficient movement through the water.

The NABCREW Zero AirBlue 1240 offers a service speed of 20-25 knots and a range of up to 40 nautical miles, making it a leader in performance among fully electric vessels.
